it is a long stretch of land with a lot of trees dotted around. Since it's leafbare not many prey scents drift by around because all the prey are in hybernation. Thick piles of snow lay around tree roots but not many snow is lying around becasue the trees shelter the ground.
Goldentail raced in determined to catch some prey for her clan to be fed. Instently, with a stroke of luck she smelt a mole lurking near a tree so she crouched down and leaped on the mole then killed it with a blow to the neck and began to search some more

Willowstar crept along in the mist. She could smell that a mouse was nearby. Hiding herself in the mist she quikly killed the mouse without it having a chance to run away. Later she also caught a plump bird using the same method

Willowstar pushed her way through the thicker then usual mist. She had cought a vole and a squirrel

Willowstar crouched down low as she saw a squirrel, hiding in the mist. Suddenly, she lept out at it and bit its neck, killing it. After a while of hunting she nodded to Goldentail "Lets go back now. There's stuff I have to do"
